1. The Registry has listed this case after 09.08.1994 for the first time. No reasons have come forward from the Registry as to why this writ petition was not listed in the Court, although notices for motion were issued on 15.03.1994.
2. The Registry cannot be allowed to keep cases pending with them, and not list it in the Court for orders.
3. It is only when Hon'ble The Chief Justice has directed to list all the cases which are pending for more than 25 years, the Registry has arisen from its slumber and listed this case before the Court.
4. The counsel for the petitioner, Mr. M.S. Rahi, Advocate, has expired long back. No one knows about the present position of the writ petitioner.

5. Challenge in the writ petition was with regard to appointment of respondents No.2 to 4 as Block Development and Panchayat Officers vide order dated 26.11.1993. Thirty years have passed by.
6. Thus, on account of this case not having been placed before this Court by the Registry, this writ petition has been rendered otiose.
7. While disposing of the writ petition as having become infructuous by efflux of time, the present order be placed before Hon'ble The Chief Justice for appropriate action.
