The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'It is therefore, respectfully prayed that Criminal Misc. Petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the respondent No.2 to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct an inquiry in an FIR No.283 dated 16.12.2019, under Section 302 & 201 (added later on) of IPC registered at P.S. Kharar, District SAS Nagar (ANNEXURE P-1) keeping in view the facts and circumstances mentioned in this petition may please be allowed, in the interest of justice. AND/OR It is further prayed that the strict legal action please be taken against the erring and biased officers i.e. Respondent No.3 and 4, who tampered the evidence i.e. CCTV footage CD and submitted a blank CD before the Ld. Trial Court, in the interest of justice.

AND/OR With a further prayer that a direction may also be issued to the respondent no.2 that how the respondent no.3, who is from Punjab Armed Police (PAP), has been appointed as SHO or Investigating Officer in the present case, which is against the instructions issued by the respondent no.2 dated 21.05.2021 (ANNEXURE P-4);

CRM-M No.5584 of 2025 -22. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand so as to avail alternative remedy as available in law, including approaching the trial Court for seeking redressal of his grievance(s) as per law.

With the aforesaid liberty, the petition in hand is dismissed as withdrawn.
