**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through videoconferencing. Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.26 dated 26.01.2020 registered under Sections 61/1/14 Punjab Excise Act, at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur.
Notice of motion was issued on 07.02.2020 and interim anticipatory bail was also granted to the petitioner on the premise that the FIR was registered on the basis of secret information. There was recovery of 72 bottles of English wine from a wheat chaff kup. None was found present at the spot. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 07.02.2020, petitioner has joined the investigation to the entire satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.

CRM-M-5449-2020 Investigating Officer admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation in the case. Even challan has been submitted to the Court. In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 07.02.2020 is made absolute. However, petitioner shall keep appearing before the trial Court regularly. Petition stands disposed of.
