A writ petition was filed by the petitioner for issuance of directions to the respondents to release interest @ 18% per annum on delayed payment of retiral benefits. The writ petition was disposed of on 03.07.2017 with direction to the respondents to take decision on the legal notice dated 20.03.2017. Liberty was granted to the petitioner to approach this Court if grievance still survives. Learned counsel for the respondents produced order dated 27.11.2018 whereby claim of the petitioner for release of interest @ 18% per annum has been rejected and it has been held that interest @ 10% per annum has already been granted. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
