This is a petition for issuance of directions to the official respondents for protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from the private respondents arrayed in the petition. Petitioners have stated that there is no danger to their life and liberty and they do not require police protection. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of statements produced, no cause of action survives for pursuing the present petition. However, liberty is sought to approach the police authorities in case need so arises in future. Disposed of as infructuous with liberty as prayed for.
