Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, interalia, directing the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner being member of Scheduled Caste (Balmiki & Mazhabi Sikhs) in the cadre of Labour Enforcement officer, Grade-I as per roster point keeping in view the instructions dated 05.05.1975 (P-4) as well as dated 08.04.1989 (P-5). Learned senior counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 26.11.2021 (P-10) is considered and decided expeditiously.
