NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 215 dated 24.08.2020 registered under Sections 376, 376(2)(f) and 506 IPC and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur, Punjab. Learned counsel for the State has filed custody certificate dated 22.09.2023, which is taken on record, as per which the petitioner has been in custody as an undertrial for a period of 03 years and 26 days. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, at this stage.

Permitted to do so.
