   ) Learned State Counsel has handed over today in Court, a copy of a 'Death Certificate' dated 10.10.2024 as per which Jagjit Singh son of Avtar Singh i.e. the appellant herein has since then passed away on 08.08.2024. The certified copy of 'Death Certificate' is taken on record as Mark 'A'.

In view of the above, the present petition is accordingly disposed of as having been abated on account of death of the appellantaccused as seemingly the LRs do not intend to pursue the appeal any further. Liberty is, however, granted to the LRs of the appellant to seek revival of the present appeal, if they so desire, within a period of three months from today. Disposed of as having been abated.
