(ORAL) By way of the present petition, the petitioner has sought the relief of issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3 to proceed further with the complaints/representations dated 06.10.2020 (Annexures P-1 to P-3) as moved by him for seeking cancellation of the License of Fair Price Shop bearing No.1072 of 2020 issued in the name of respondent No.4-Baljit Kaur, while averring that the competent authorities are not taking any action in respect of his said complaints/ representations.

Heard.

In para No.1 of his representation Annexure P-2, the petitioner himself has mentioned that he had been running a Fair Price Shop (Ration Depot) bearing License No.FZR-IFS-DFC/951 of 2011 and that his said SEEMA SHARMA 2021.02.19 17:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

licence has been suspended in a wrong and illegal manner. Then, in para No.4 of his representation Annexure P-3, he has alleged that respondent No.4 misbehaves with the Ration Card holders when they visit her said Fair Price Shop to purchase the goods and that she is not medically fit to run the said shop.

However, at this stage, there does not seem to be any valid reason to presume that the competent/Addressee authorities would sleep over these complaints/representations or to draw any inference qua the inaction on their part in dealing with the same. Even otherwise, the petitioner has also not been able to show as to how he gets the locus-standi to invoke the writ jurisdiction of this Court to seek the directions to the respondents as prayed for by him in the instant petition and that too, especially in the circumstances when he and respondent No.4 are holding separate licenses for the purposes of running their respective Fair Price Shops. As a sequel to the fore-going discussion, it follows that the present writ petition is devoid of any merit. Resultantly, this petition, being sans any merit, stands dismissed.
