HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.68 dated 19.06.2020 under Section 306 IPC (Section 34 IPC added later on) registered at P.S Sadar Faridkot, District Faridkot. FIR was lodged on the statement of Dalbir Singh, who alleged that the marriage of his son Kulwinder Singh was solemnized with the petitioner about one year ago and out of the wedlock, a daughter was born to them. It is alleged that in-laws of son of the complainant used to harass him. The petitioner was usually quarreling with the son of the complainant. On the fateful day, at about 11.00 am, parents of the petitioner, Veena, Gurdeep Singh, Mamta came to the house of the complainant. Ashu-mother of the petitioner accused son of the complainant of being impotent. They all hurled abuses to the complainant. Mother of the petitioner twice slapped the complainant besides the beatings being given by other persons to him as well as his son. Unable to bear the insults, the son of the complainant consumed poison resulting into his death.

CRM-M-7436 of 2021 (O&M) #2# Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that no role is ascribed to the petitioner in the FIR. Further, as per the allegations, no offence under Section 306 IPC is made out against the petitioner and the other accused. The petitioner is in custody since 23.06.2020. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and also bearing in mind the facts and circumstances of instant case, in my opinion, no useful purpose will be served by detaining the petitioner behind bars any further. The petition, as such, is accepted. The petitioner Muskan is ordered to be released on bail on her furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
