(ORAL) Mr. Goel has produced copy of the e-mail received by him from the bank authorities which reads as under : "With reference to trailing email on the captioned, this is to inform you that the Mr. Ashish Mittal (Petitioner/Borrower) has settled his 3 housing loan accounts (As per attached DRT order) with the respondent Bank for an amount of Rs.31.00 lacs before Ld. DRT-1 Chandigarh on dated 12.11.2022 and deposited the entire settlement amount towards full and final settlement of the housing loan accounts and nothing is now outstanding against the defendants.

Accordingly, we have requested our Panel advocate at Jalandhar dealing the captioned complaint matters to withdraw the complaints titlted as Punjab National Bank VS AASHISH MITTAL - CASE NO.-NACT/21600/2022 & NACT/21602/2022 pending before Hon'ble Distt Court Jalandhar. CRM-M-6456-2024 and -2CRM-M-6458-2024 2024:PHHC:019071 It is pertinent to mention here that Bank has filed the complaints u/s 138 of NI Act at Jalandhar Courts on 30.07.2022 and account settled on 12/11/2022 in DRT, which was prior to the settlement date.

In view of the above, as housing loan accounts of the petitioner has settled and Bank recovered the entire settlement amount, hence Bank not intended to contest these matter before Hon'ble High Courrt and Bank has no objection in case Hon'ble High Court quash the proceedings in said complaint matter (NACT/21600/2022 & NACT/21602/2022) pending before Distt Courts at Jalandhar."

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the Bank, no further order is required to be passed in the present petitions. 3.

Disposed off accordingly.
