The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to grant him modified pay scale with effect from 01.05.1990. 2.

Mr. Vinod Gupta, Advocate submits that petitioner has been granted modified pay scale, however, arrears are not released. The respondent has granted arrears to similarly situated employees. 3.

Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A.G., Haryana submits that competent authority would consider claim of the petitioner in the light of other similarly situated employees.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent to consider claim of the petitioner qua arrears, within three months from today.
