The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of a direction to the official respondents No.2 to 4 to decide the application dated 03.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner against respondents No.5 to 11 within a stipulated time period.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he has taken 75 acres of land on lease from respondent No.5, however, from the next crop season, the lease of land was given to respondents No.7 and 8. At the time of bidding for taking the land in question on lease, 20 acres of maize crop of the petitioner was ready and the same was illegally harvested by the private respondents in connivance with each other. Even the police are not acting on his complaint made on 01.08.2023 to respondent No.2 i.e. DGP, Punjab under the political pressure of private respondents.

Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who appears on advance notice, on instructions from ASI Harjit Singh submits that veracity of allegations made by the petitioners have been duly enquired into and the same were found to be false.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the record, this Court finds no ground to interfere in the present case. Resultantly, the instant petition stands dismissed.
