This is the second petition under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., whereby, the petitioner has sought the relief of his being granted the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.152 dated 14.07.2022, under Section 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1985 (Section 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act added subsequently), registered at P.S. Salem Tabri, District Ludhiana. 2.

The earlier petition, i.e. CRM-M-48828-2023, wherein, the petitioner had sought an alike relief, as claimed herein, was dismissed as withdrawn by this Court, vide order dated 25.01.2024. However, the petitioner was granted liberty to surrender before the learned trial Court and to make an application for bail before the latter. 3.
