The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to release admitted amount of Rs.2,29,09,813/-.

On 02.02.2026 the following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned senior counsel for the petitioner asserts that the work of construction of community centre and road renovation was duly completed by the petitioner, who raised bills, Annexures P-2 and P-5, for payment, which has not been released. He has made a reference to the completion certificate, Annexure P-6, as well as monitoring report (at page 30 of the paper-book) to assert that the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the officials of Municipal Corporation, Rohtak.

Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 on instructions from Executive Engineer Manjeet Dahiya, M.C. Rohtak submits that outstanding dues of petitioner would be released within a period of five months from today.
