The writ petition is of the year 1998 and this Court, while admitting the matter on 16.01.2001, granted status quo regarding possession.

In view of the refusal to take notice and the fact that the petitioners have taken brief from the counsel appearing for them, it is clear that petitioners, particularly, petitioner Nos.1 and 5 are not interested in pursuing the matter.

The writ petition is dismissed for default of appearance and non-prosecution.
