**** DEEPAK MANCHANDA J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 20.02.2023, learned State counsel has filed status report by way of affidavit of Azad Davinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural), Abohar, District Fazilka, which is taken on record. Learned State counsel submits that as per status report, represention (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner was dealt with and inquiry was also conducted in pursuance to the same. As per the sub-para (iv) of para 4 of the status report, cause of death is clearly mentioned as Neurohaemorgic shock due to brain and lungs injury which is sufficient to cause death in ordinary course of nature. Learned State counsel further submits that the only grievance of the petitioner was that representation dated 02.11.2022 filed by the petitioner was not decided, and as per status report, the same has also been dealt with and grievance of the petitioner has also been redressed. In view of the submission made by learned State and the status report filed by the State, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition.

CRM-M-6358-2023 -2Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedies in accordance with law.

Prayer is allowed.

Present petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
