The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 14.01.2019 (Annexure P-11) to the extent his name was not included in the list of short listed candidates for interview to the post of Assistant Professor for the grade pay of Rs.8,000/-.

Mr. A.S.Virk, Advocate, at the outset, submits that the respondent-NIT has withdrawn the advertisement in question and the petitioner has already been granted grade pay of Rs.8,000/-, thus, the present petition has become infructuous.
