the Regional Passport Office, Amritsar, whereby certain clarifications regarding issuance of passport facilities to the petitioner were to be addressed by him; however, the same has not been done so far. 2.1 Learned counsel for the respondent/Union of India has handed over a copy of the aforesaid letter dated 23.09.2024, issued by the Regional Passport Office, Amritsar, in Court today; which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. A copy thereof is also supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner, in Court today itself.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Regional Passport Office, Amritsar and to respond to the aforesaid letter dated 23.09.2024, issued by the Regional Passport Office, Amritsar, by addressing all the clarifications, as mentioned therein.
