Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and appoint the petitioners against the unfilled 80 posts in category SC (ESM), SC (M&B), SC Sportsman of HT being covered as per instructions dated 20.12.2001 (P-4).

Learned counsel, on instructions from petitioners, submits that their grievance has been redressed, therefore, the present writ petition is rendered infructuous.
