The present GTC-7 pertains to the year 1988. However, no one appears on behalf of the Commissioner of Gift Tax, Rohtak. 2.

The High Court Registry has reported that the burnt record of the present case is not available inspite of thorough search, whereupon, the only method available is to provide a paper-book by the concerned Department. However, no one appears for the Department also. It appears that they are not interested nor they have taken any steps for reconstructing the file.

In view of the above, the present case is dismissed for nonprosecution. 4.
