RAJESH BINDAL, J Prayer in the present writ petition is for directing the State to fix quota for promotion to the post of Principal from Headmasters and Lecturers. The writ petition was filed in the year 1994. The petitioners were appointed in the years 1969-1971. Considering the aforesaid fact and with the passage of time, prayer made in the present petition must have been rendered infructuous.

At the time of admission, the present writ petition was directed to be listed along with CWP No.5599 of 1992, however, the same was dismissed in default and was not got restored. The writ petition is dismissed in default, however, with liberty to the petitioners to get the same restored, in case any relief survives, within a period of three months.
