The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 24.10.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-28905-2024, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to decide the legal notices dated 15.07.2024 and 25.07.2024 filed by the petitioners by passing a speaking order.

In compliance of the order dated 24.10.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-28905-2024, compliance report by way of affidavit dated 20.02.2025 of Dr. Hitinder Kaur, Director, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab, along with speaking order dated 20.02.2025 (Annexure R/1) passed by her, has been filed on behalf of respondent No.2 in the Registry. The same is taken on record.

In view of the above, since order dated 24.10.2024 passed by this Court in CWP-28905-2024, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioners to avail remedy as is available to them in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order 20.02.2025 passed by Dr. Hitinder Kaur, Director, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab.
