(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for quashing actions of respondents for not granting the house rent allowance monthly by computing @10% of basic pay of petitioners and overlooking the statutory provision of Notification dated 19.07.2016 and further issuance of direction to respondents to pay HRA@10% of basic pay monthly to petitioner and grant arrears along with 18% interest w.e.f. 01.01.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied if the representation dated 08.08.2018 (Annexure P-4) is decided by respondent No.4-Civil Surgeon, General Hospital, Hisar, District Hisar within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.4-Civil Surgeon, General Hospital, Hisar, District Hisar to consider the representation dated 08.08.2018 (Annexure P-4) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon, PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.11.16 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.3246 of 2019 (O&M) -2failing which respondent No.4 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
