(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to transfer investigation of case FIR No. 83 dated 28.08.2019 (Annexure P-3) under Sections 22, 27-A and 29 of the NDPS Act, Police Station Special Task Force, District STF Wing (Police Station Division No. 5, Ludhiana) to some other independent agency like Crime Branch, Punjab or CBI in order to bring the truth.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 4-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to look into the matter and do the needful, if required.
In view of the above, respondent No. 4, is directed to look into the matter and, if, required, do the needful, in accordance with law The instant criminal writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
