(Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.102 dated 30.12.2020 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 406, 498-A of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Woman Cell, District Ludhiana.

Vide order dated 12.01.2022, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in pursuance to the order dated 12.01.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation. He submits that the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the same has been amicably settled between the parties.

-2CRM-M-7452-2021 Learned counsel for the complainant has affirmed the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Vipan Kumar, has also affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation. In the facts and circumstances, this Court finds that the interim order dated 12.01.2022 deserves to be confirmed. In view of the above, interim order dated 12.01.2022 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

Petition stands allowed.
