(Oral) The petitioner seeks grant of the anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in a case bearing FIR No.0310 dated 14.12.2021 under Section 20 of NDPS Act (Section 27-A of the NDPS Act is wrongly mentioned in the order dated 09.02.2022), registered with Police Station Badhra, District Charkhi Dadri.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 18.02.2022 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Amit Kumar, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 18.02.2022 and is not required for custodial interrogation. In this view of the matter, interim order dated 18.02.2022 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition stands disposed of.
