At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India to the extent that a legal notice dated 11.11.2020 (Annexure P-9) sent by the petitioner be decided in time bound manner. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the case of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Peon to the post of LDC/MR has been pending and the petitioner is fully eligible as she has 25 years of service to her credit and has also passed Matriculation examination in June 2014.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Rajesh Gaur, Addl. A.G., Haryana has put in appearance through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of the State.
