Mr. Amit Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) Heard through video conferencing.

The prayer in the present petition is for issuance of a direction to release the gratuity due to the petitioner after taking into account the Adhoc Service period w.e.f 01.04.1983 till 31.07.1992 along with bonus of the year 2005 and along with interest.

Inter alia, learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that numerous representations have been sent to the respondent same being Annexure P-4 (dated 05.09.2020), Annexure P-5 (dated 16.10.2020) and Annexure P-6 (dated 19.12.2020). However, no action has been taken till date nor any decision has been taken upon the same. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further contend that, at this stage, he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent to decide the representations filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent to decide the representations dated 05.09.2020 (Annexure P-4), 16.10.2020 (Annexure P5) and 19.12.2020 (Annexure P-6) in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
