NIDHI GUPTA J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.2 dated 07.01.2024, under Sections 363, 366 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Dhariwal, District Gurdaspur.
Status report dated 30.04.2024 by way of affidavit of Rajbir Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rural, District Gurdaspur has been filed in the Court today. The same is taken on record. Copy thereof supplied to the counsel opposite. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Ramesh Kumar submits that in the investigation conducted by the Investigating Agency, the petitioner has been exonerated.
Accordingly, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of as such.
