*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present writ petition is for quashing of order dated 26.07.1999 passed by respondent No.4, whereby the petitioner was reverted from the post of Assistant Sub Inspector to the post of Head Constable.

While issuing notice of motion on 29.07.1999, impugned order of reversion was also stayed and thereafter, the case was admitted on 16.01.2002. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of this petition, an FIR was registered against the petitioner. Subsequently, he was convicted and has undergone the sentence. His conviction has been upheld upto Hon'ble the Supreme Court.

It appears that nothing survives in the present writ petition. Disposed of accordingly.
