The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.71 dated 12.12.2018 registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station Women Cell (Commissionerate), Jalandhar.

By an order dated 12.07.2019 while referring the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, this Court had directed that no coercive means shall be adopted against the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the matter has been settled amicably and a compromise has been arrived at before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. 4.

In view of the fact that a compromise has arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 12.07.2019 is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
