Learned counsel for petitioner argued that petitioner is behind the bars since 09.08.2024. Regular bail applications filed before learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonipat have been declined twice vide orders dated 30.08.2024 and 11.11.2024 (Annexure P-6 and P-7 respectively). Other litigation has started due to matrimonial dispute. Copy of petition filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C. is Annexure P-2 and Civil Suit filed by minor daughter regarding claim in the property is Annexure P-5. The copy of MLR of Komal Antil is Annexure P-3. At present statements of material witnesses have been recorded i.e. complainant Mukesh PW-1 and her daughter Komal as PW-2. He is ready to abide by the terms of bail order. It is prayed that his regular bail petition may be allowed. 4.

Detailed status report has been filed confirming the facts narrated in the FIR. Custody certificate of petitioner is Annexure R-4. After competition of investigation, challan was presented on 07.10.2024 and after

- framing of charge-sheet, case is fixed for prosecution evidence. It is submitted that there are serious allegations against the petitioner for harassing the daughter of complainant on account of demand of dowry. Therefore, petitioner is not entitled to be released on regular bail. 5.

I have considered the arguments and have gone through the record. Petitioner was arrested on 09.08.2024 and he is behind the bars for the last more than one year. After presentation of challan, prosecution evidence is being recorded. Statements of both material witnesses i.e. complainant Mukesh and her daughter Komal Antil have been recorded as PW-1 and PW-2 respectively. Now there is no chance that petitioner can influence the witnesses. Trial in this case may take some time. No purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars for indefinite time period. Therefore, without expressing my mind on merits of the case, /+*) *
