(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and grant due regular promotion to the petitioners on the post of Executive Engineer from the post of Sub-Divisional Engineer.
Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the relief claimed in the present petition has already been granted to the petitioners as they have been promoted to the post of Executive Engineer, therefore, this petition may be disposed of having been rendered infructuous.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondent No.2, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
