DEEPAK MANCHANDA, J.(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the respondents to consider and decide his parole application which is pending with them. Vide order dated 14.2.2023, learned State counsel was directed to have instructions. In compliance of the same, reply by way of affidavit of Varun Sharma, Superintendent, District Jail, Sri Muktsar Sahib has been filed by learned State counsel. The same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to the counsel opposite.

Learned State counsel submits that vide letter No.FN:957/66275 dated 17.2.2023, the petitioner has been allowed parole and the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid position.
