SUVIR SEHGAL J. (ORAL) This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of the case FIR No.0065 dated 23.11.2021, registered under Sections 452, 354-C, 506, 34 of IPC, 1860 and Section 3 of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (amended 2015), at Police Station Jaurkian, District Mansa, Annexure P-1 and all subsequent proceedings arising out of the said FIR on the basis of written compromise dated 24.12.2021, Annexure P-2.

Upon instructions from ASI Ajaypal Singh, State counsel submits that the trial has been concluded and the petitioners have been acquitted on 21.03.2022.

Faced with this development, counsel for the petitioners seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
