The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to official respondents to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents Nos.3 to 6. They are further seeking direction to official respondents to lodge FIR against respondents Nos.3 to 6 and to hand over investigation to respondent No 7. 2.

The petitioners are owners of land qua which they are having demarcation dispute with respondent Nos.5 & 6. They received threats from PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2026.04.27 05:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.2516-2023(O&M) -2respondent Nos.3 & 4 in the name of respondent Nos.5 & 6. They have requested respondent Nos.5 & 6 to peacefully demarcate the land in question but to no avail. Respondent No. 4 along with police officials started demolishing workshop of the petitioners on 02.02.2023. They are apprehensive of their as well as their family's safety. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that at the behest of private respondents, FIR was registered. The matter was investigated by Deputy Superintendent of Police who found allegations incorrect and submitted cancellation report which was finally accepted by trial Court. The petitioners apprehend that respondents may disturb their possession and with the help of police officers implicate them in false criminal cases. 4.

Learned counsel for private respondents submits that averments made by petitioners are factually incorrect. They would never take law in their hands and always proceed in accordance with law. 5.

Learned State counsel submits that as and when any complaint is received from any party, the matter would be examined in accordance with law and none of the party would be permitted to take law in its hands. 6.

In the wake of statement of all the stakeholders, the petition stands disposed of.
