* * * * The challenge in the writ petition at the instance of the workman was to the release of additional increments etc. The question of stay, therefore, did not arise in this case. The writ petition is pending for the last about 21 years. It is stated by the official of the General Manager, Haryana Roadways, Yamunanagar appearing along with the learned State Counsel that the petitioner retired about 18 years back and has since died. He has placed on record a photocopy of the death certificate, which indicates that the petitioner died on September 30, 2013. The official further stated that his LRs have not been brought on record till date.

The official, who came present, further states that the son of the petitioner is working as a Driver in the Department itself and he was duly informed and stated that he is not interested in pursuing the case. In the circumstances, the writ petition is ordered to be consigned to record. Liberty is, however, granted to the LR, Harinder Singh, Driver No.206 to get it revived, if need be. (G.C.
