The learned State counsel states that the recruitment pursuant to the recruitment notice dated 17.12.2020 has been scrapped and a decision has been taken to conduct the examination afresh vide decision dated 20.01.2023.

The learned senior counsel representing the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid development, the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition in order to avail his remedy. 3.
