With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the aforesaid writ petitions are being taken up together for adjudication, as they arise out of a common set of facts and involve identical questions of law. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, the facts are being extracted from CWP-2667-2026.

The present writ petition(s) has been filed under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant appointment to the petitioners on the post of Shift Attendant in UHBVNL being their first preference as per result dated 05.02.2024 and 26.11.2025 (Annexure P-6 & P-8) along with actual benefits of arears and seniority. In the alternate, to grant appointment to the petitioners on the post of Assistant Lineman (Cat. No.195) in UHBVNL being their second preference along with actual benefits of arrears and seniority.

Before the commencement of the arguments, learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that similar issue has been decided by this Court in CWP No.31244 of 2025, titled as Inderaj Vs. Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited and others, decided on 25.03.2026 and the present petition(s) may be disposed of in terms of the said judgment. 4.

In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, both the writ petitions are disposed of terms of Inderaj (supra). 5.

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of. 6.
