SHO Police Station Kanina, District Mahendergarh, has informed that statements of private respondents i.e. respondents No.5 to 20 have been recorded and who all have stated that they have no objection to the marriage of the petitioners and that they will not cause any harm to the petitioners. - 2 - CRWP-1342-2020 (O&M) chose to appear before the local police and that in case they do appear the local police shall surely examine their threat perception and do the needful. In view of the aforestated position, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the local police and to submit a detailed representation as regards their alleged threat perception. In case, any such representation is submitted by the petitioners, the same shall be got examined expeditiously. Further in case it is found that there is genuine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.

A copy of this order be conveyed to respondent No.2Superintendent of Police Narnaul, District Mahendergarh as well as to respondent No.3-SHO, Police Station Kanina, District Mahendergarh, for necessary compliance.
