Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the relevant Clauses, especially 11 and 12 of the Empanelment Letter dated 19.10.2023 issued to the petitioner by respondent No.3 to the extent that the maternity leave has been denied to her, however, vide letter dated 30.12.2024, the Govt. of Punjab has considered the provisions of maternity leave for empanelled staff of Aam Aadmi Clinics.

This Court on 03.02.2025 had passed the following order:- "Learned counsel submits that the services of the petitioner, who was working on contract basis, being in the family way and had sought maternity leave, which was declined vide order dated 19.09.2024, Annexure P-5, whereafter, her services were terminated vide order dated 23.09.2024, Annexure P-7. Now, the respondents have decided to grant the same to all contractual employees vide order dated 30.12.2024, Annexure P-9. Learned State counsel prays for a short accommodation to obtain instructions.

Adjourned to 14.02.2025."

On 14.02.2025, learned State counsel had prayed for and was granted 10 days more time in terms of the aforesaid order, who, on instructions from Mr. Brijesh, District Programme Manager, Civil Surgeon HAMANT 2025.02.25 16:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2CWP-2846-2025 Office, states that in case the petitioner approaches the respondents and gives joining report, she will be allowed to rejoin alongwith maternity benefit in terms of the decision that has been taken.
