(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed off with a direction that in case the petitioner moves an application before the Illaqa Magistrate under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., the Illaqa Magistrate concerned shall do the needful so as to ensure that the same is disposed off expeditiously.

It is further directed that in case any appropriate application is made by the petitioner to respondent No.3-S.H.O. Police Station, Division No.6, Jalandhar seeking protection, the alleged threat perception shall be got examined expeditiously. In case it is found that there is any genuine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then it be ensured that no harm is caused to the petitioner.
