The instant petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking grant of regular bail in respect of aforementioned FIR. 2.

Although, the petitioner is alleged to have inflicted an injury with kirpan on the head of the complainant but learned counsel has stated that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties. 3.

Learned State counsel has however, opposed the petition and has feigned ignorance about the compromise. It has been submitted that MOHAN SINGH 2024.02.16 04:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-6600-2024 (O&M) - 2 - 2024:PHHC:021964 since serious allegations have been levelled, no case for grant of bail is made out on the basis of the alleged compromise. 4.

Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Advocate, has today put in appearance and filed power of attorney. The same is taken on record. Learned counsel for the complainant has endorsed the factum of compromise Learned counsel has stated that the complainant has no objection in case the petition is accepted.

This Court has considered the rival submissions. 6.

In view of the fact that the matter is stated to have been amicably resolved amongst the parties, further detention of the petitioner will not serve any useful purpose.
