Mr. Anil Chawla, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Joginder Pal, SDO and Mr. Sarwan Singh, SSA, PSTCL.

* * * * Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in spite of best efforts, he could not contact the petitioners. In response to the notice, Mr. Joginder Pal, SDO and Mr. Sarwan Singh, SSA, PSTCL have put in appearance on behalf of the respondent. It is stated by the officials that petitioners 4 & 5 have since died and petitioner No.2 has since retired. The other three petitioners have long back been regularized and no ESI is being deducted from their salary.

This stand of the respondent stands uncontroverted. The writ petition is ordered to be consigned to record with liberty to the petitioners to get it revived, if need be.
