The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to take action on his representation dated 22.12.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2.

The petitioner claims that on his application alleging execution of forged Power of Attorney, the respondent has registered FIR No. 16 dated 14.05.2025 under Sections 419, 420, 468, 471, 120-B of IPC at Police Station NRI Wing, Amritsar against Amarbir Singh, Jagmohan Singh, Harbans Singh, Namberdar, Navjot Singh and Palwinder Singh, however, no action has been taken against officials who were in connivance with private persons. The Power of Attorney could not be executed at Tarn Taran. He has made representation to jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner but to no avail. Learned State counsel submits that Deputy Commissioner, Tarn Taran would look into the matter and an appropriate action would be initiated against erring officials.

In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner would proceed with the matter, in accordance with law, without being influenced by observations of this Court.
