HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the speaking order dated 06.01.2026 (Annexure P-9) whereby the respondents (Provident Fund Authorities) have rejected the claim of the petitioners to restore pension on higher wages and further to quash the action of respondents No.2 and 3 reducing the pension of the petitioners and to quash the notices issued to petitioners No.1 and 2 dated 24.04.2023 (Annexure P-6) and dated 3.2.2023 (Annexure P-7) issued by Regional provident Fund Commissioner. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (respondent No.3) to release the pension/family pension for the month of January, 2023 onwards to the MOHD YAKUB 2026.02.12 09:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP-3114-2026 (O&M) -2petitioners on full wages and pay the arrears of difference of enhanced pension and reduced pension with interest @ 12% per annum and to release it regularly every month instead of pension released on reduced wages.

Learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3, at the outset, submits that the order with regard to reduction of pension qua petitioner No.3 have been passed which has not been assailed in the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3 undertakes to supply the copy of reduction order qua petitioner No.3 to learned counsel for the petitioners within a period of 03 days from today. In the wake of the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars by assailing the order of reduction qua petitioner No.3 as well.
