Petitioner - wife, Bharti, by way of filing the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is aggrieved by the inaction of the police on representation dated 11.1.2021, submitted by her for taking action against private respondents No. 4 to 10, containing allegations of mental and physical harassment to her and her minor son, at the hands of private respondents, on account of demand of dowry and respondent No. 4 Loveneesh Kumar, making an attempt to rape the petitioner.

CRM-M-7957 of 2021 -2At this stage, Mr. J.S. Ghuman, DAG, Punjab, has accepted notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 - State Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the official respondents to decide her representation.

Learned State counsel states that the official respondents would comply with any such direction issued by the Court. Accordingly the petition is disposed of directing the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to look into the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 11.2.2021, Copy Annexure P-1 and if he finds that some action in the matter is warranted, then the needful be done in accordance with law, at the earliest.
