HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.126 dated 22.10.2009 under Sections 325,324,323,34 IPC registered at P.S Nathana, Bathinda, District Bathinda and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise. Vide order dated 09.03.2021, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate on 23.03.2021 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned Magistrate was directed to send a report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.
A report dated 26.03.2021 of learned JMIC, Bathinda has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Magistrate and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. CRM-M-10732 of 2021 #2# compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.
Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. FIR No.126 dated 22.10.2009 under Sections 325,324,323,34 IPC registered at P.S Nathana, Bathinda, District Bathinda along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioners.
