The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 14.10.1991 (Annexure P-1) as well as Annexures P-3 to P-8 whereby private respondents have been granted seniority over them. 3.

The private respondents worked with Punjab Police from 1961 to 1967. They joined Border Security Force from where they were discharged. They joined Haryana Police in 1969. The private respondents claimed counting of past service which they had rendered with Punjab Police. Their claim has been settled by this Court. The petitioners are trying to re-open their claim.

There is no representation of the petitioners and as informed by Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A.G., Haryana, the petitioners as well as private respondents have already retired on attaining the age of superannuation. 5.

It appears that with the efflux of time, the petitioners have lost their interest to pursue the matter.

Dismissed with liberty to petitioners to move an appropriate application within three months from today, if cause survives. 7.
